How Our Program Works:
Our program is built on relationships, not one-time assistance.
As your needs change, the support and donated items you receive may change as well. Instead of a single drop-off, we work alongside you throughout your pregnancy and postpartum journey, providing support and essentials as resources become available.
Because our services are personalized and our resources are limited, mothers accepted into the Safe Beginnings Program agree to:
✔ Remain actively engaged in the program
✔ Attend scheduled appointments
✔ Stay in communication with our team
✔ Participate in creating a plan that supports their family's goals
Our mission is simple: to ensure no mother has to navigate pregnancy, birth, or postpartum alone.
About the Safe Beginnings Program
The Safe Beginnings Program is a relationship-based support program for pregnant and postpartum mothers who need a village, not just a one-time donation.
Our team walks alongside you throughout your pregnancy and postpartum journey by providing personalized support based on your family's unique needs. We believe every mother deserves compassionate care, encouragement, and practical assistance during one of life's biggest transitions.
Program Guidelines
Services are provided based on eligibility, program capacity, and available resources.
The Safe Beginnings Program is a relationship-based support program, not a one-time donation program.
Mothers accepted into the program must remain actively engaged by attending scheduled appointments and staying in communication with our team.
Support is individualized and may include transportation, meal preparation, grocery assistance, light household support, doula services, appointment advocacy, resource navigation, and maternal wellness support.
Baby and maternal essentials are provided throughout participation based on each family's current needs and available donations. Items are not guaranteed and are distributed as resources allow.
Elijah's Open Arms Foundation does not provide direct cash assistance or financial assistance for rent, mortgages, utility bills, or personal debts.
Our goal is to walk alongside each mother throughout her pregnancy and postpartum journey while helping her build a strong, sustainable support system.
Need a Village?
The Safe Beginnings Program is designed for pregnant and postpartum mothers who are ready to actively participate in receiving personalized support.
If you're looking for ongoing support, not just a one-time donation, complete our referral form today. A team member will review your application and contact you within 3 business days. If your need is urgent, please indicate that on your application.
Please Note: Acceptance into the program is not guaranteed. Due to limited resources, all referrals are reviewed based on eligibility, current needs, and program availability.
